Description
Indications:
RELUVIZ is a solution eye drops containing ketotifen which is an antiallergic substance. RELUVIZ is used to treat the symptoms of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis. The most common symptoms of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis are intense itching of both eyes associated with redness, swelling, excessive tearing, sensitivity to light. Symptoms are recurrent and triggered by the beginning of the pollen season. Seasonal allergic conjunctivitis can also be associated with other symptoms such as rhinitis.
How to use:
Dosage Adults, the elderly and children over 3 years of age The recommended dose is one drop in the affected eye twice a day (morning and evening). Method of administration Do not inject, do not swallow. This medicine is intended to be administered into the eye (ophthalmic use). Do not use if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to ketotifen (the active substance), or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
- Wash your hands thoroughly before using the product, open the aluminum sachet that contains a strip of 5 single-dose containers.
- Separate a single-dose container from the strip by exerting a slight pressure on the side opposite the opening of the vial.
- To open the container, rotate the cap completely by making a 360 ° turn. Tilt the head back and gently lower the lower eyelid with a finger so as to form a pocket between the eyelid and the eye.
- Place the tip of the single-dose container near the eye, without touching it, press lightly on the body of the container to apply a drop of solution on the affected ocular surface.
- After using the product, close the eye and press with the index finger on the inner corner of the eye (the point where the eye meets the nose) and hold for 1-2 minutes (Figure 4). This will help prevent the drug from spreading to the rest of the body.
- If the eye drops are to be used in both eyes, wash your hands before repeating the procedure for the second eye.
RELUVIZ should not be used in children under 3 years of age.
