Description
Indications:
Alkaeffer is indicated as symptomatic therapy of febrile states and flu and cold syndromes and symptomatic treatment of headache and toothache,
neuralgia (pain affecting the nerves), menstrual pain, rheumatic and muscle pain (affecting the joints and muscles).
Alkaeffer is an analgesic (pain reliever: reduces pain), antipyretic (antifebrile: reduces fever).
How to use:
The product must always be dissolved completely in water before taking, which must take place on a full stomach: 1 or 2 tablets as a single dose in a glass of water, repeating, if necessary, the dose at intervals of 4-8 hours until to 4 times a day.
Never exceed the maximum daily dosage of 8 tablets. In particular, elderly patients should adhere to the minimum dosages indicated above. Always use the lowest effective dosage and only increase it if it is not sufficient to relieve symptoms (pain or fever).
Use the medicine for the shortest possible period, do not take the product for more than 3-5 days without medical advice. Those most exposed to the risk of serious side effects, who can use the drug only if prescribed by a doctor, must strictly follow the instructions.
Take the medicine preferably after main meals or, in any case, on a full stomach. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist.
Active principles:
Each tablet: Acetylsalicylic acid (324 mg), Sodium hydrogen carbonate (1744 mg – corresponding to 1625 mg anhydrous sodium hydrogen carbonate), Anhydrous citric acid (965 mg).
Excipients:
Dissolved in water the tablets give rise to: Sodium acetylsalicylic, sodium bicarbonate, sodium citrate.
