Description
Indications:
This medicine contains 2 active ingredients belonging to the cough suppressant and expectorant class of medicines: dextromethorphan hydrobromide, which is used to calm coughs, and guaifenesin, which works by thinning phlegm.
It is used for the symptomatic treatment of cough, it is used to calm the cough and to make the phlegm more fluid, therefore more easily eliminated.
Contact your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 5-7 days of treatment.
How to use:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Adults and children over 12 years: 2 teaspoons (10 ml), 2-4 times a day, up to a maximum of 8 teaspoons (40 ml) per day.
Children between 6 and 12 years of age: 1 teaspoon (5 ml), 3-4 times a day, up to a maximum of 4 teaspoons (20 ml) per day.
Wait at least 4-6 hours between one dose and the next. Do not exceed the prescribed dose unless recommended by your physician.
Take the syrup by mouth (orally). Open the bottle by pressing and turning the cap at the same time. After taking the dose, close the bottle by pressing down and screwing the cap.
Active principles:
Dextromethorphan hydrobromide and guaifenesin. 100 ml of syrup contain: 0.15 g dextromethorphan hydrobromide and 1.00 g guaifenesin.
Excipients:
Mountain pine essential oil, citric acid monohydrate, alcohol, glycerol, sucrose, sweet orange essence, propyl para-hydroxybenzoate, methyl para-hydroxybenzoate, sodium saccharin, purified water.
