Description
Indications:
CISTIDIL & egrave, an adjuvant in the treatment of acne, atrophic dermatitis and psoriasis.
The product is distributed in the form of tablets, a whole pack, consisting of 30 units, in blisters. The product is an adjuvant in dermatological therapies against acne, dermatitis and psoriasis. As already mentioned, CISTIDIL uses the active principle of Cystine, a sulfur amino acid that is obtained from an oxidative reaction between two cysteine molecules. Levorotatory cystine is rapidly absorbed from the intestine via active transport and is already found in the portal blood shortly after administration.
The molecule performs several important functions within the human body, in addition to being part of the biological proteins of some tissues (brain, heart, kidney and pituitary), Cystine promotes the correct synthesis of taurine and bile salts, playing an important role in the regulation of cholesterol. Furthermore, it contributes to the correct synthesis of glutathione (an endogenous cellular antioxidant) and promotes the keratization process, that is, it promotes the correct synthesis of keratin, a fundamental protein for the structuring of skin appendages (nails, hair and hair). Not surprisingly, the main symptom of cystine deficiency in humans is the loss of hair which, like nails, are rich in keratin.
CISTIDIL & egrave, a drug based on L-Cystine, a very important amino acid from a biological point of view given the numerous patterns in which it falls.
The appropriate intake of this amino acid, especially in clinical conditions characterized by a significant increase in its requirement, would guarantee:
the correct synthesis of taurine and therefore of bile salts, essential in the processes of liver detoxification,
the appropriate synthesis of glutathione, one of the main cellular endogenous antioxidants,
the correct synthesis of keratin, an important protein for the correct structuring of skin appendages such as nails, hair and hair,
the correct synthesis of molecular mediators such as immunoglobulins and hormones which are fundamental in preserving the functioning of the organism.
All the aforementioned biological actions are adjuvant by excellent pharmacokinetic properties that allow the amino acid taken, for example, to be rapidly absorbed at the intestinal level by active transport and subsequently poured into the portal blood and made available for the various biological functions.
CISTIDIL contains lactose among its excipients, therefore its intake is contraindicated in patients with lactase enzyme deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome and impaired lactose tolerance.
It is recommended to store the drug out of the reach of children.
The use of CISTIDIL during pregnancy should only be carried out in cases of real need, and always under the careful supervision of your gynecologist.
The use of CISTIDIL is contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to the active substance or to one of its excipients, and in patients with cystinuria and kidney stones.
How to use:
The appropriate treatment schedule should be defined by the physician according to the specific needs of the patient.
