During each menstrual cycle, the days in which conception can occur are limited, so it is important for those who want to have a baby to have sex on those days.

The Clearblue ™ Digital Ovulation Test helps you to optimize the chances of conceiving by identifying the 2 most fertile days of each cycle, by measuring changes in the levels of luteinizing hormone (LH), a hormone essential for fertility in urine. It shows you clear results on a digital display.

Clear digital results: Thanks to the clear digital display, the results are easy to read.

Simple to use: The characteristic flashing 'test stick' symbol indicates that the digital ovulation test is in progress.

Instructions:
Before you begin, you need to know your usual cycle length to make sure you get the test at the right time to detect your LH (luteinizing hormone) surge.

Preparation of the ovulation test: Remove the stick from the sealed package. Remove the cap. Before exposing the ovulation test stick to urine, it must be inserted into the test holder.

Line up the pink arrow on the stick with the arrow on the holder and insert the stick until it clicks into place.

Wait for the 'test ready' symbol to appear and proceed to the ovulation test immediately.

Carrying out the test:
Place the absorbent tip pointing downwards by exposing it to the urine stream for 5-7 seconds.

Alternatively, collect a urine sample in a clean, dry container. Immerse the absorbent tip in the urine for 15 seconds. Be careful not to get the test holder wet.

Wait 3 minutes: Hold the device with the absorbent tip facing down or lay it flat. During testing, never hold the device with the absorbent tip pointing upwards.

After 20-40 seconds the 'test ready' symbol will start flashing to indicate that the test is in progress.

Do not take out the ovulation test stick before the result is shown. Replace the ovulation test stick cap and wait for 3 minutes.

The display will show the result within 3 minutes.

No LH Spike: If the result is an empty circle, the test did not detect any LH spikes. Repeat the test at the same time tomorrow using a new stick.

LH surge: A smiley face indicates that the test has detected an LH surge. Your 2 most fertile days are today and tomorrow, so having sex in the next 48 hours will optimize your chances of conceiving.

Once you have read the result, take out the ovulation test stick and throw it away. The test result can only be read on the test holder display: there are no lines indicating the results.

The result will remain visible on the display for 8 minutes. Do not reinsert a stick that has already been used.
