D3Base Junior is suitable for children aged 4 and over.

Vitamin D plays an important role in the regulation of bone mineralization processes by promoting the absorption of calcium and phosphorus in the intestine. The optimization of the vitamin D status is therefore necessary in order to promote the processes of bone mass acquisition that occur during the developmental age, up to the achievement of the peak bone mass which can be considered the highest level of bone mass achievable during life as a result of normal growth 2.

How D3Base Junior contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function

Vitamin D stimulates the development of muscle tissue by contributing to the regulation of intracellular calcium levels, the differentiation and composition of contractile proteins that form muscle. Muscle represents the main mechanical stimulus for the growth and development of bone tissue because the load and tension exerted by the muscle mass on the bone affect its strength and endurance and promote the processes of bone mass acquisition2.

How D3Base Junior contributes to the normal function of the immune system

Vitamin D plays an important role in modulating the immune system and thus in the response against infections.The immunoregulatory activity is in fact demonstrated by the detection of the presence of receptors capable of binding vitamin D on numerous cells of the immune system and by the ability to stimulate the production of powerful antimicrobial compounds capable of defending the body from infections in general (2 ).

How to use:
It is recommended to take 1 gummy candy a day to chew until it melts. The amount of vitamin D3 contained in each candy (600 I.U.) is equivalent to what is recommended by the Nutrient Reference Intake Levels (LARN) on a daily basis, established by the Italian Society of Human Nutrition (SINU) 1.

Warnings:
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age. Excessive consumption can have laxative effects.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place away from light, localized heat sources and sunlight and avoid contact with water.
