Description
Dafneben ™ Vaginal Capsules
Promotes the restoration of the normal endovaginal physiological condition.
The internal application of the Guar Gum gelling agent forms a hydrogel on the vaginal mucosa after a few minutes of dissolving the capsules.
This hydrogel adheres to the vaginal wall and, by producing a physical barrier against potentially pathogenic microorganisms, lubricates and humidifies the vagina.
The Lactobacilli probiotic microorganisms (Lactobacillus Crispatus, Lactobacillus Jensenii, Lactobacillus Rhamnosus, Lactobacillus Reuteri) that are disseminated in the vagina rebalance the internal microflora (Doderlein complex), enhancing the barrier effect of the hydrogel and promoting the restoration of pH 0-4.5), which in itself is a protective factor.
The prebiotic inulin is a substance that is not absorbed by the body, but represents a selective nourishment for the microorganisms of the vaginal flora present in the Dafneben, thus favoring their ability to colonize the vaginal ecosystem, with a reduction in the recovery times of the normal microflora. .
Lactobacilli are habitual non-pathogenic hosts of the vagina, therefore it can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Guar Gum gelling agent is considered safe as it is widely used as a food additive (E 412).
It is not absorbed, leaves no residue and is eliminated with the physiological exudates normally produced by the vaginal mucosa.
