Description
Indications:
Dexibuprofen, the active substance in Buscofokus, belongs to a family of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). NSAIDs such as dexibuprofen are used as pain relievers and to control inflammation. They work by reducing the amount of prostaglandins (substances that control inflammation and pain) that the body produces.
Buscofokus is used in adults for the short-term symptomatic treatment of acute mild to moderate pain of various origins, such as:
- musculoskeletal pain, back pain,
- toothache, dental pain, pain after a tooth extraction,
- menstrual pain,
- headache,
- pain during colds and flu (such as headache and pain in the limbs).
Seek medical attention if symptoms worsen or do not improve after 4 days in case of pain and after 3 days in case of fever.
How to use:
Take Buscofokus with a glass of water or other liquid. Buscofokus works faster when taken on an empty stomach. It is recommended to take it with a meal, as this can help avoid stomach problems, especially in case of prolonged use.
The starting dose is 1 tablet of Buscofokus 200 mg (200 mg of dexibuprofen), then 1 tablet every 6-8 hours as needed. Leave at least six hours between doses and do not exceed 3 Buscofokus tablets (600 mg of dexibuprofen) per day without consulting your doctor.
Active principles:
One film-coated tablet contains 200 mg of dexibuprofen.
Excipients:
Hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, carmellose calcium, anhydrous colloidal silica, talc. Film coating: hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171), triacetin, talc, macrogol 6000.
